Android To Be Dominant Mobile Phone Operating Systems By 2015
It probably shouldn't come as any surprise given the success of everything else Google touches, but recent figures from Gartner suggest that Android will have nearly half the mobile phone operating systems market by 2015.
At 48.8% market share by 2015, Android's rise co-incides with the anticipated reduction in market share for Symbian, for so long associated with Nokia phones, to 0.1%.
